There are three kinds of friendships according to Aristotle, namely; friendship of utility, friendship of pleasure and finally perfect friendship. Perfect friendship is the master and the goal of all friendships. Such friendship is rare because it requires time and familiarity to form. Twenty-five years ago, a perfect friendship was born on 1331 Kerlerec Street in New Orleans, Louisiana. Forged by fun and foolishness, solidified through stupidity and silliness, two high school freshmen started the lifetime journey of perfect friendship. That journey has taken us from 9th Grade friends at McDonogh 35 Senior High School to the founders of Inflection Point Entertainment.

In business, it signifies a time of significant change in a situation; a turning point. In life, it is often the moment when shit blows up and the change that takes place after the dust settles. Who We Are
Michael Smith
Michael is one of the sports industry’s most versatile, creative, and accomplished storytellers. He’s currently the co-host of the new Peacock show, “Brother From Another.” In 15 years at ESPN, he served in a variety of roles and worked across all of the network’s platforms – including as a reporter, commentator, host, and anchor. Respected from locker rooms to owners’ boxes and beyond, Smith brings a long list of both sports and entertainment industry relationships throughout his stellar 20-year career in media. Prior to joining ESPN, Michael was a reporter for the Boston Globe, serving as the paper’s NFL and New England Patriots beat writer.
Dwayne Bernal
An industry-leading entrepreneur, Dwayne is a consummate executive and a renaissance man of sorts. With 20+ years of service as a public and private sector executive, he is recognized by his peers as a proven leader and a demonstrated visionary. At the age of 26, Dwayne established Royal Engineers to meet the vast infrastructure development, disaster recovery, and coastal restoration needs of the Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina – growing Royal to be one of the largest African American owned engineering firms in the South. Subsequently, he served as the Director of Data Center Construction for Eastern US and Latin America for Microsoft, responsible for $2B+ of datacenter development and construction spanning two continents.
